A Red Light
Detective Adventure

Amsterdam, 1988: There is a lot more grime, a lot more crime, and a lot more of what some might call “a good time” in the Red Light District’s grimy alleyways. In this city game, you will take on the role of a grizzly detective, with a gun by your side and whiskey on your breath. A body has turned up on the streets, and you are needed to help solve the case.

At the start of the experience, you will go to the first pub and pick up a game booklet with the instructions and your first challenge. Then the game will guide you through the city to visit a total of 3 different pubs, where you will find hidden materials along the way. At each brewery, you will also have a drink token that can be exchanged for a regular beer, a soft drink, a coffee or a tea. Please note that you will need a phone with data to communicate with your police captain along the way (no download necessary).

– Visit 3 bars and complete a series of challenges to solve the case
– In between each bar, you will explore the neighborhood, finding details in Amsterdam’s architecture and hidden corners
– Follow a true story from the city’s history as you race against the clock or compete with your friends, family, or colleagues
– You will need a phone with internet

The price includes one a two hour adventure through the city. The game set is in a bag and includes all the maps, books, locks and treasure box you need to solve the mystery.

All participants also receive a prize at the end.

Of course! The games are made for adults, but are a very fun thing to do with kids or teenagers too. Kids ages 6 and older can play when accompanied by an adult. 

The game starts at Bierfabriek, just off of Rokin. Along the way, you will visit three different breweries, ending at de Prael, just near Central Station.

Most of the game takes place indoors, making this the perfect activity for a cold, rainy day!
